The tradition of venetian glass was born at
the begining of the 1200's on the Island of
Torcello, a Island north of the lagoon of
Venice. |
Near the end of the 1200's thanks to a
change in law from the "Serenissima"
republic of Venice all of the baking ovens
that were constructed were shifted for fear
of fires to one unique island not far away
from Venice: Murano. |
From then on the production of glass has
seen highs and lows due to various
historical events, but the creativity,
tradition, authenticity, colour and the art
still remains intact up until today. |
The Biasutti family in grand tradition, with
its new store, brings to you the grandest
production of glass "original from Murano".
Offering you, exquisite pieces that make up
the story of Venice which surpassestime. |
